Yep, I'm back with more plugs...I missed a few great bloggers last week, so here goes:
Savannah Images/Billy Dodson--Billy's a fabulously talented wildlife photographer who blogs about his work and travels...and conservation. He has a Facebook page that features many of his photographs. Do have a look!
PK Hrezo is a writer blogging about writing, and her posts are fun, insightful, and well-written. She also supports a cause--anti-bullying--and recently posted a beautiful story about her young son learning how to skip stones. Worth checking out!
My Characters' Lives is Beth Muscat's blog dedicated to one of my favorite writing exercises: character blogs. And Beth's characters have a lot to say!
Secondhand Shoes is Shelly Arkon's novel in progress. I can't wait for her to finish it! Check it out and you'll see why!
Carla White's profile at By the Water's Edge says it all: "Better to write for yourself and have no public than to write for the public and have no self." Carla writes about whatever captures her interest at the moment, and she does it well. Always.
As an animal lover, I immediately fell in love with Ten Lives and Second Chances, the story of a writer and her cats. If you love critters of any kind, you'll love this blog!
I have a special place in my heart for Carole Morden--she's my pastor's wife, a wonderful lady and a talented writer--even if she does still view self-publishing as a last resort. (Carole, no one who buys your book, self-published or not, will be doing it as a pity purchase. Trust me.) Check out her blog, Dry Bones....
And last but definitely not least, there's Joe Konrath, a man with his finger on the pulse of publishing. If you want to be an author when you grow up, A Newbie's Guide to Publishing is THE place to start!
That's it for today. Hope you will all give these great blogs a shot, if you haven't already!
