Baby, It's Bleeping Cold Outside!

I'm officially a blogging slacker.

I'd like to be able to say I haven't been blogging because I'm so busy writing, but.... I am writing, but mostly I'm bitching and whining about something I can't change: our crappy weather. And with that in mind, here's proof that I'm not the only one who's miserable.

Can anybody tell me if the planet might be moving further away from the sun or something?

If you're as cold and miserable as I am, well, misery does love company. If you're by some miracle in a nice warm climate, I envy you!

Be sure you check out William's  and London Lulu's photoblogs today, if you just can't get enough of the bitter cold. If, however, you want to see sunshine and no snow, take a look at Gayle's and Grace's blogs....

  1. It's in the 20s [F] here today, with the sun out. I tell ya, it's great. Feels like spring. Which is good because I have couponing to do soon, and it's nice to have the sun out there with me.

    Cheers and boogie boogie.

  2. Don't envy me because at night it gets cold here too and we sleep better with warm covers and the heater put quite low. When my feet pop out I wake up! :) Love all the cute, entertaining pics.

  3. Ah, but winter is a lovely and wonderful thing! With snow and ice and chill and blizzards and polar vortexes!

I know.... come summer I'll be groaning.

  5. You've just entered all my reasons for running back to the desert. Let me know if you ever visit 29 Palms, CA in the winter. Ignore William.

  6. Relieve me of this polar vortex already! And I hear we've got another storm coming, eeks! Thank you for the kind mention. Alas, I fear my current pix are not adding to your winter blues:) But like William, I know I'll be complaining about summer heat!

No matter what the groundhog said... I hope spring comes soon for you and Winter stays up where William is.

  8. I'm with you (and Grumpy), where the H did this weather come from. Huh?
Gotta get myself dressed warm today, and go drive a transit bus in this crap. Not my favorite thing to do. Take care, Norma! Watch the ice!

  10. @ Happy Whisk: I'd be happy to even get a glimpse of the sun!

@ Eve: You are soooooo lucky!

@ William and Krisztina: You two need help. ASAP!

@ Mari: A couple of years ago, I made him get a cuss jar and pay it every time he mentioned snow, cold, etc.!

@ Lulu: Your photos make me see the only good thing about this awful weather!

@ Gayle: I feel like I'm in one of those cheesy Syfy Channel movies--the earth has been knocked out of its orbit and is hurtling into space, further and further from the Sun...and the only thing that's going to end our suffering is that inevitable crash into Jupiter!

@Lorelei: I don't envy you having to go out in this mess!

@ Grace: I'd be happy to swap! Can we do it now???

    1. It's a nice thing to see. And some days we only get a little bit of it so I like the take the puppies for a walk then. Helps break up the cold and gives me ideas for my spring garden.
